Megan Larkin
Megan Larkin began her riding career in Ireland at the age of six at her Grandfather's farm. After a few summers riding at her Grandfather's farm, she fell in love with the sport. She later successfully competed in show jumping on her large pony winning in many shows including Milstreet. Her career continued in the US where she competed in the hunters, equitation and jumpers. When she was 13 years old her parents bought her her first horse, Will If I Want "Wiley". Even though he was a challenge, she never gave up and she was able to take him from the pre-children's 2’ hunters to the 1.35 jumpers. She has competed at the top level shows including HITS, Garden State, Vermont, and Lake Placid riding her own and clients horses. She has also accomplished and won many awards including lihighscore 3’ and 3’6 jumpers, Emerging Athletes, Zone 2 Champion jumpers, won Zone 2 Intercollegiate Regionals, placed 6th in M&S Jumper Finals, second 1.15m jumper classic, reserve champion 2’6 low hunters Winners Circle Series and many top ribbons at 1.20/1.30m. Megan got a full scholarship to ride in college on the Equestrian Team as the open rider as a freshman and continued to ride to win regionals and place ninth at zones her sophomore year. Her professional career began in 2008, when she began training and riding at Rice Farms under the tutelage of the late Jimmy Rice at Rice Farms while completing her undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology. She has trained and taken clinics with many of the top professionals including George Morris (symposium) , Michael Page, Anne Kursinski, and Norman Dello Joio as well as recently ridden and shown with Darren Graziano, Michael Zuckerman, James Benedetto, and Bobby Ginsberg. She has now been dedicating her time training young horses for the hunter, equitation and jumper rings along with importing and selling horses from Europe. With much success, in 2014 Megan opened Thady Quill Farm LLC in Old Brookville,  NY. Dedicating her time training her students of all ages, selling horses and competing professionally in the hunters and jumpers.  She is currently still an active usef member still competing on various horses today. Megan has brought many of her students, including herself to the winners circle at AA rated shows including the Hampton Classic- Bridgehampton NY.
In April of 2025, Megan has moved TQF LLC to South Carolina where she will continue her career.
